Job Title: RN - Cardiovascular Pediatric Intensive Care Unit
Location (Onsite, Remote, or Hybrid?): Milwaukee, WI (ONSITE)Contract Duration: 13 weeks Working Hours: 7PM - 7:30AM Total Weekly Hours: 36 hrs Job Title: (1) Cardiac PICU– 12 HR Night Shift ***AUTO OFFER UNIT***Start date: ASAP Contract length: 13 weeks Guaranteed hours: 36 hours per week – hours not guaranteed week of orientation Shift Requirements: 12HR nights 7pm-7am Float Requirements: float to NICU and PICU as needed Weekend requirements: Every other Holidays: rotate every other On call/Call Back: None EMR: Epic Education: ASN or BSN; BSN preferred Required certs to be attached upon submittal: WI or Compact RN license, AHA BLS, AHA PALS; AHA ACLS preferred, but not required. Minimum experience: 12 - 18 months in high acuity cardiac PICU required. Level I Trauma experience highly preferred. Special skills: Use critical thinking and cardiac, High acuity cardiac PICU with open heart, heart transplants, and open chests. Unit: West 3 – Pediatric CICU; 24 bed Pediatric Cardiac ICU unit caring for a variety of ages including neonates/infants up to adult congenital patient. RNs provide coordination and management of patient care for patients and families. Use critical thinking and cardiac assessments to provide nursing care of cardiac and cardiovascular surgery patients. Provide nursing care for the hemodynamically compromised patients and patients with impending respiratory failure. Scrub Colors: Any professional scrubs Jewelry (body piercing/body adornment): A single small stud is now permitted to be worn in the nose. No other visible body piercings (e.g. tongue, eyebrow, lips and gauges) are acceptable (except ear piercings). Flesh colored or clear piercing plugs may now be worn. **Flu vaccine required.
