Job Description\n

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Telemetry night shift position requiring an active OH or compact license and recent Med/Surg Tele experience.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

• Work in a hospital Med/Surg Telemetry unit
• Night shifts with 3 or 4 twelve-hour shifts per week, starting at 19:00
• Patient care includes both medical and telemetry cases
• Must work at least every other holiday
• Annual training modules and clinical assessments are required
• ECG and medication assessment tests are completed during orientation; must achieve acceptable scores within two attempts
• Candidates must pick up their badge and complete onsite fingerprinting before start date
• Permanent and per diem employees must wait at least 1 year before returning to this health system
• Night shift role requires coverage for every other holiday
• Exemption from nicotine-free requirements currently applies to nurses in this role

• Active permanent OH or compact RN license in hand is required
• Minimum 18 months recent permanent Med/Surg Telemetry experience
• Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Must pass ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments during orientation
• No open background check cases or license hits allowed
