• Job Description: They possess expertise in the theory and application of sterile and aseptic technique and combine the knowledge of human anatomy, surgical procedures, and implementation tools and technologies to facilitate a physician's performance of invasive therapeutic and diagnostic procedures. Demonstrates knowledge of the principles of growth and development over the life span, possesses the ability to assess data reflective of the patient's status and interpret the appropriate information needed in order to provide care for the age group of patients served.
• Role (RN, Tech, LPN, PT, etc.): CVOR Tech (CST/OR)
• Required Skills: Must be able to float to other units
• Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36
• Shift Hours: Mon-Fri 6:00a – 5:00p (4x10’s)
• Weekend Requirements: On-Call can include Weekends
• On-Call Requirements: 8-12 on-call shifts within a 4-week period. May float to main OR if no vascular cases.

Job Requirements

• Required Certifications: BLS, NBSTSA Certificate & VA State License, can work with a Temporary License while VA License is pending
• Years of Experience: 2+ years
• Float Requirements: Yes

Schedule Information

• Shift Hours: Mon-Fri 6:00a – 5:00p (4x10’s)
• Weekend Requirements: On-Call can include Weekends
• On-Call Requirements: 8-12 on-call shifts within a 4-week period.
