We are seeking an experienced Traffic Control Supervisor (TCS) to join our team in the Denver metro area. The TCS will be responsible for overseeing and ensuring the safe and effective setup, maintenance, and removal of traffic control operations for various construction and utility projects. This role requires strong leadership, field knowledge, and a deep understanding of CDOT and MUTCD regulations.
Key Responsibilities:Supervise and coordinate daily traffic control operations in compliance with state and local regulations.
Read, interpret, and implement traffic control plans (TCPs).
Set up and remove traffic control devices, signage, and flagging zones.
Conduct site safety inspections and ensure adherence to safety protocols and procedures.
Train and mentor Traffic Control Technicians, ensuring their compliance with Vector standards.
Maintain accurate daily reports, documentation, and incident logs.
Serve as a liaison between field crews, clients, and management.
Ensure timely mobilization and demobilization of crews and equipment.
Conduct pre-job briefings and ensure field readiness.
Current Traffic Control Supervisor (TCS) Certification (ATSSA or CCA preferred).
Minimum of 2 years of experience in traffic control, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role.
Strong understanding of CDOT and MUTCD standards and safety regulations.
Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in varying weather conditions.
Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening in accordance with DOT regulations.
