** Tow Truck Driver**

****Basic Job Functions:****
Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.
* Drive tow truck to transport vehicles to various locations in Ft Myers
* Observe all traffic laws and maintain a safe speed for the weather and road conditions
* Properly follow UPAP and OSHA safety standards
* Perform daily inspection of tow truck and immediately report any defects or needed repairs
* Adhere to strict maintenance schedule
* Ensure UPAP location is secure when dropping off vehicles after normal business hours
****Minimum Qualifications:****
* Must possess a valid drivers license and a record of safe driving
* Minimum 18 years of age
* Minimum 1 year tow truck operation experience preferred
* High school diploma or equivalent preferred
* Dependable and consistent; able to meet attendance policy
* Physical ability to operate the tow truck and hoist vehicles as needed
* Effective verbal communication skills to interact with internal and external customers
* Must be willing to work outdoors in all types of weather conditions
Must have supervisor and/or manager recommendation and must be able to perform all essential functions of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.
