Job Duties/Description - Achieves staffing objectives by recruiting and evaluating job candidates.
- Builds applicant sources by researching and contacting community services, colleges, employment agencies, recruiters, media, and internet sites; providing organization information, opportunities, and benefits; making presentations; and maintaining rapport.
- Owning the candidate experience from start to end and ensuring an exceptional candidate experience: understanding candidate goals and needs, qualifying their competency and culture fit, managing the feedback loop, and coordinating an expedient and seamless interview process.
- Determines applicant requirements by studying job description and job qualifications.
- Attracts applicants by placing job advertisements and using job sites.
- Determines applicant qualifications by interviewing applicants, analyzing responses, verifying references, and comparing qualifications to job requirements.
- Maintain all pertinent applicant and interview data in the Applicant Tracking System
- Improves organizational attractiveness by recommending new policies and practices; monitoring job offers and compensation practices; and emphasizing benefits and perks.
- Source and screen for positions including scheduling candidates for face to face, video, and phone interviews w/ hiring managers.
- Assist with the onboarding of new hires.
- Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.
Requirements - 1-3 years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to perform the essential functions of the job, as determined by the company.
- Excellent presentation and communication skills (verbal and written)
- Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Possess a high sense of urgency and with the ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities.
- Ability to multi-task, meet deadlines, and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience with Indeed, LinkedIn, and other various job forums is a plus.
