Our work depends on Systems Administrator joining our team to support NMMES FEM, utilizing IBM's Maximo Application Suite.
Responsibilities:
Provides end-user software troubleshooting and support.
Installs, configures, and upgrades computer hardware and software.
Provides troubleshooting and support.
Applies advanced diagnostic techniques to identify problems, investigate causes, and recommend solutions.
Is part of a team with personnel located in Montgomery, AL. Will be required to support customers at local and remote sites.
Collaborates with third-party service providers to ensure customer facing services are available when required.
Analyzes customer needs to determine functional and cross-functional requirements.
Review performance reports, service improvements, service quality and processes.
Provide management and performance reports.
Ensure that practices and processes exist and when it is possible are standardized and repeatable.
Maintains current knowledge of relevant technologies as assigned.
Comprehensive knowledge of the principles, methods, and techniques used in computer troubleshooting and support.
Comprehensive knowledge of desktop operating systems and applications.
May require professional certification in one or more specific technologies, depending on job assignment.
Will occasionally be required to perform networks, systems, information assurance and logistics duties.
Participates in special projects as required.
Some travel to customer sites is required for major upgrades or when requested by the customer.
Required Qualifications:
2 years of experience required.
BA/BS degree - may substitute additional years of experience.
A candidate must meet the following requirements:
Baseline – Security+ ce, CySA+, or CCNA Security. Higher certifications such as CASP+ ce, CCNP Security, or CISSP are acceptable.
Secret Security Clearance is required.
