NEW JOB! We are seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to work in-person for a great therapeutic day school! This opportunity is located near the vicinity of Essex/Custer Park area. 

Speech-Language Pathology position to start August 18, 2025- June 5th, 2026!
* Hours are 7:30 am-3:30 pm Monday-Friday 
* 1-2 years previous school experience.
* Students range from 8yrs - 20yrs old.
* Various diagnosis such as emotional disability and autism
* Caseload 20-25

* This day school provides academic and therapeutic services for children, adolescents, and young adults ages 3 to 22 with needs including Emotional and Behavioral Disabilities, Specific Learning Disabilities, Autism, and Other Health Impairments
* Students are supported by a team of professionals that include School Administrators, Special Education Teachers, and Paraprofessionals, Therapist and Related Service Providers
* Seeking a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist to provide speech services in both group and individual sessions in accordance with students IEP’s


Job Duties Include:

*Providing services to assigned students based on Individual Education Programs
*Consulting and collaborate with student’s team to support students’ educational goals
*Preparing, attending, and support IEP meetings
*Providing training and instruction to staff as needed



Qualifications:
* Licensed/certified Speech-Language Pathologist in IL
* Experience working in a school setting preferred
* Experience working with students on the autism spectrum preferred
* Strong professional communication skills both oral and written
* Ability to record and analyze data
