Job Description

Position Overview:

We're looking for dedicated and adaptable individuals to join our team as Substitute Teachers/Advisors. This role involves providing temporary coverage for our teaching and advisory staff as needed. Most assignments are short-term, typically lasting 3-5 days.

Key Responsibilities:

As a Teacher:

Respond to student emails within 24 hours.
Enroll students in the appropriate learning programs.
Address staff inquiries regarding student progress.
Grade assignments in various student learning programs within 48 hours.
Approve student time entries.
As an Advisor:

Assign final grades.
Answer emails related to navigation questions.
Assist students in checking their progress.
Connect students with teachers or other relevant staff members.
Qualifications & Requirements:

Current Ohio Substitute Teaching License or the ability to obtain one.
Resident of Ohio.
Experience in an educational or office setting.
Proficiency with technology and high-speed internet access at home.
Strong multitasking skills with the ability to meet deadlines.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Capability to work effectively from home.
Discretion and commitment to maintaining confidentiality in handling sensitive information.
