Job Details We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Structural Engineer to join our well-established and growing team. This is a remote role that allows you to work from anywhere within the state of Wisconsin while being part of a team that is transforming the world. The successful candidate will have a solid background in structural design, project management and industrial projects.
Responsibilities:
1. Perform as project lead engineer for small and larger projects with little oversight, managing the production effort of staff assigned to the project in terms of quality, budget, and schedule, overseeing the work throughout various project stages – from conceptual, feasibility, and detailed design through construction.
2. Duties will include structural engineering, structural details, analysis and design, and writing technical and study reports.
3. Manage project budgets, providing regular updates to stakeholders and making necessary adjustments to ensure financial objectives are met.
4. Collaborate with team members and stakeholders, providing regular updates on project progress and addressing any issues or concerns promptly.
7. Stay updated on the latest industry trends, technologies, and standards, incorporating them into your work to ensure our projects are at the forefront of the industry.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Structural Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field. A Master's degree or Professional Engineering (PE) license is preferred, SE is a plus.
2. Minimum of 8 years of experience in structural engineering of industrial projects or similar.
3. Preferred software knowledge and requirements include Revit, BIM, AutoCAD, RISA 3D, Navisworks, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office.
4. Experience in proposal writing, project scheduling, and budget management.
5. Strong technical skills with the ability to provide solutions to complex engineering problems.
6. Exceptional communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a remote setting.
7. Highly motivated, with a passion for structural engineering and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
