Job Title: Store Manager
Location: Randolph, VT
Job Type: Full-Time, On-site
Pay Range: $65,000 – $80,000 annually

Job Summary
Adecco Permanent Recruitment is partnering with a well-established retail organization in the Randolph, Vermont area to help them hire a Store Manager . This role is responsible for leading day-to-day store operations, managing a team of 15–25 employees, and driving performance across customer service, sales, and operational excellence. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced retail environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead, train, schedule, and develop a team of 15–25 store employees

  • Foster a positive, customer-focused culture that supports retention and performance

  • Oversee daily store operations including opening/closing procedures, cleanliness, and merchandising

  • Monitor sales performance and implement strategies to meet or exceed revenue goals

  • Manage inventory control, ordering, stocking, and shrink prevention

  • Handle cash management, register balancing, deposits, and financial reporting

  • Ensure compliance with safety standards, labor laws, and operational policies

  • Implement promotions and operational initiatives aligned with company standards


Qualifications and Must-Haves

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor’s degree preferred

  • Proven experience in retail management or a supervisory role

  • Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and manage large teams

  • Strong customer service and conflict-resolution skills

  • Experience with inventory management, cash handling, and financial reporting

  • Ability to analyze sales data and operational metrics

  • Proficiency with POS systems and basic computer applications

  • Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays

  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds

Pay Details: $65,000.00 to $80,000.00 per year
