A state-of-the-art hospital is seeking a Sterile Processing Technician to join their sterile processing department. This is a full-time, permanent role in an innovative environment with a dynamic team.

The Sterile Processing Technician will report directly to the Assistant Manager of Sterile Processing Department. The Sterile Processing Technician will be required to provide daily updates regarding the status of their caseload to their superior and work together with their peers to ensure all safety regulations and policies are being met. Serving as an integral team member to the sterile processing department, the Sterile Processing Technician will work daily to guarantee all surgical equipment is decontaminated, cleaned, reprocessed and sterilized according to standards and manufacturer’s recommendation.
The Sterile Processing Technician will be required to have the knowledge to correctly identify all clinical instruments, equipment, and supplies utilized by the surgical services department. The Sterile Processing Technician must hold their CRCST or be able to obtain it within one year of hire. Equipped with cutting-edge technology within the surgical services department, the Sterile Processing Technician will be required to be well-versed in any and all medical equipment utilized and be able to make any adjustments as needed. The Sterile Processing Technician must be familiar regarding the work being done within the department and must be able to highlight their own strengths and weaknesses to ensure all of their work is done efficiency, effectively, and safely.
