Fagron is seeking a qualified professional to fill the role of Staff Accountant to join our Shared Services Finance team in Austin, TX. This role will support our Fagron Sterile Services business.

Key Responsibilities

· Assist with month-end and year-end close processes

· Prepare journal entries, reconciliations, and other accounting functions.

· Manage daily cash reconciliations and escalations with AR and AP departments in case of variances.

· Work closely with other departments, including procurement, operations, and sales, to gather necessary information for financial analysis and reporting.

· Contribute to the elaboration and processing of the balance sheets and financial overviews

· Evaluate capital projects and enter them in the Capex system to route for approval.

· Identify opportunities for improving accounting processes and systems as well as best practices to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

· Coordinate with other members of the finance team to review financial information and forecasts.

· Other duties as assigned

Basic Qualifications

· Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field, minimum of 2-5 years of accounting experience.

· ERP System expertise required; Microsoft Dynamics preferred.

· Advanced Excel skills required, including pivot tables, VLOOKUP’s, macros, etc.

· Solid team player with the ability to work independently in a confident, deliberate and productive manner.

· Ability to research issues and arrive at logical well-documented analysis and conclusions.

· Effective verbal and written communicator with both financial and non-financial individuals.
