We are looking for senior quantitative researchers and portfolio managers to be part of a new hedge fund/tech company, focused on using A.I. to optimize investing strategies.
We're looking for people with investing experience who have either a live track record or a backtest with conviction that it is not overfit. The backtests should have Calmar Ratio > 4.0 and drawdowns not exceeding -20%. Please only apply if you currently have a live track record or can show a backtest with at least those metrics so save us both time.
We are a team of experienced Silicon Valley technology founders who have built and invested in dozens of companies with returns of billions of dollars. Our cofounder buit the world's first internet focused Venture Capital fund back in 1993. We now see A.I. disrupting the world even more powerfully than the internet did and we want to start with the world of investing. We're investing tens of millions of our own money so we have much more flexibility in what and how we invest.
We are agnostic to the asset and investment strategy and are okay with strategies that aren't very scalable. We will provide capital, software development resources, and A.I. expertise to help optimize, iterate and find new strategies together. We are all about collaboration, speed and using technology whenever we can.
