Leidos is seeking a Sr. Oracle DBA to support large-scale migration and operations on a large, high-profile DOD contract. The I3TS program provides enterprise-wide IT support to enable DTRA's Information Management & Technology Directorate (ITD) to consolidate, modernize, and continuously innovate the delivery of IT services and mission capabilities to DTRA's internal and external mission partners operating in CONUS and OCONUS locations. You will be working in support of a large and complex IT consolidation, migration, and modernization effort towards a Single Service Provider model that provides sustainment, maintenance, Problem and Change management services to help ensure secure, reliable, and uninterrupted availability of the DTRA networks and mission services.
Primary Responsibilities: - Analyzes business processes and procedures; makes recommendations to system/software solutions.
- Provides Tier 3 Oracle Server support, solving complex issues by providing sound solutions.
- Applies best practice for tuning Oracle databases to improve overall system performance.
- Supports software development and test throughout the software development lifecycle to include; incremental
- script execution and defect resolution.
- Review proposed database structure changes and gain approval to modify based on best practices.
- Researches interfaces to identify and code required updates to support integration.
- Ensures software releases are fully supported and gains approvals before implementing new changes into the production environment.
- Creates and maintains all Oracle databases required for development, testing, and production usage.
- Controls migrations of programs, database changes, reference data changes and menu changes through the development life cycle.
- Puts standards in place to ensure all application design and code is produced with proper integrity, security and performance; Perform reviews on the design and code frequently to ensure the site standards are being adhered to.
- Performs planning and assists application developers and System administrators, to ensure that any new Oracle products or release upgrade takes place with minimal impact.
- Troubleshoots all problems regarding Oracle databases, applications and development tools.
Basic Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree and 12+ years of prior relevant experience; additional years of relevant experience may be accepted in lieu of a degree.
- Experience supporting Oracle database implementations of similar size, scope, and complexity to the requirements identified in this TO.
- Oracle Certified Professional (OCP) certification.
- One or more DoD 8140.01 certifications and technical credentials required for privileged/administrative access.
- Ability to solve complex problems and present solutions to leadership.

Pay Range: Pay Range $122,200.00 - $220,900.00
