About the Job:

The Sr. Manager, Brand Marketing will plan, develop, and implement marketing strategies and brand vision, by setting the standard for marketing promotions, special events, and public relation activities for the stores and online.This person also engages our top brands and fosters partnerships with celebrities to deliver a best in class experience for our customers.

A day in the life, what you'll be doing:

  • Oversee the Brand Marketing, Social Media, and PR & Events teams.
  • Handle and drive activations for third parties such as celebrities, artists, musicians, etc.
  • Maintain and cultivate new relationships with current and emerging key brands.
  • Lead the charge for content produced by brands including: photography, video, copy and links for social media channels, e-commerce, and blogs.
  • Lead the creation and execution of brand appropriate promotions (GWP's, contests, sweepstakes, etc.).
  • Devise and execute launch strategy for all new brands.
  • Lead all in-store appearances and brand collaboration events.
  • Align and collaborate with other PacSun marketing counterparts & outside agencies.
  • Lead and direct all cross-functional communication & partnerships - liaison between marketing and key partners across organization.

What it takes to Join:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Merchandising or related field is preferred.
  • 5+ years of Retail industry marketing experience, in a mid-Sr. level Leadership role.
  • 5+ years of overall brand marketing experience including events, social media and public relations.
  • Digital marketing experience/knowledge is preferred.
  • Proven record of success with partnering with celebrities and relevant brands.
  • Working knowledge of various marketing techniques and processes.
  • Demonstrates logical analysis and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent project management, time management, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Detail oriented and ability to multi-task.
  • Flexible and adaptive to changing priorities.
  • Ability to work and influence a variety of groups, internal and external.

Salary Range : $116,917 - $130,753

  • Ability to work in open environment with fluctuating temperatures and standard lighting.
  • Ability to work on computer and mobile phone for multiple hours; with frequent interruptions.
  • Required to travel in elevator or stairwells to attend meetings and engage with associates on multiple floors throughout building.
  • Hotel, Airplane, and Car Travel may be required.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:

This is a full-time position. As a National Retailer, occasional evening and/or weekend work may be required during periods of high volume. This role operates in a professional office environment and routinely uses standard office equipment.
