Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Sr. GoLang Developer with 9 to 12 years of experience specializing in Secure Coding for Golang and Cable Technologies. The ideal candidate will drive the development of secure and efficient software solutions ensuring high performance and reliability. This role is crucial for advancing our technological capabilities and delivering superior products to our clients.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development of secure software solutions using Golang to meet project requirements and industry standards.
• Oversee the implementation of secure coding practices to protect against vulnerabilities and ensure data integrity.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design develop and deploy high-performance applications.
• Ensure code quality through rigorous testing code reviews and adherence to best practices.
• Drive the adoption of new technologies and methodologies to enhance development efficiency and product quality.
• Manage project timelines and deliverables ensuring timely and successful completion of development tasks.
• Conduct regular security assessments and audits to identify and mitigate potential risks.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for all development processes and codebases.
• Engage with stakeholders to gather requirements and provide technical insights for project planning.
• Optimize application performance and scalability to handle increasing user demands.
• Participate in the continuous improvement of development processes and tools.
• Contribute to the company's mission by delivering secure and innovative software solutions that enhance customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Possess extensive experience in secure coding practices for Golang.
• Demonstrate strong expertise in Cable Technologies.
• Exhibit excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Show proficiency in conducting code reviews and security assessments.
• Have a proven track record of leading development projects and teams.
• Display strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Be adept at managing multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Hold a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.

The annual salary for this position is between $94,482 - $150,500 depending on the experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program and stock awards, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
