Job Title : Speech Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA)

Location : Charlotte, NC

Pay Range: $22-$25/hr

Job Description : We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to join our team in Charlotte, NC. The SLPA will work in various school and childcare settings, providing support to children with speech and language disorders.

Responsibilities :

• Assist Speech Language Pathologists (SLPs) in conducting speech and language screenings and assessments.
• Implement individualized treatment plans designed by SLPs.
• Provide direct therapy services to children in schools and childcare centers.
• Monitor and document progress of students and report findings to SLPs.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support students' communication needs.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with school and state regulations.

Qualifications :

• Associate's degree in Speech Language Pathology Assistant program or related field.
• State licensure or certification as a Speech Language Pathology Assistant.
• Experience working with children in educational or childcare settings preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. Employees in this role will enjoy a comprehensive benefits package starting on day one of employment, including options for medical, dental, and vision insurance.
