Your Key Responsibilities

• Treatment Planning: Create engaging therapy materials for both verbal and non-verbal learners, including resources for AAC devices, visual icons, and communication boards. Collaborate with a dynamic team to implement and follow treatment plans set by the supervising SLP.
• Consultation & Instruction: Provide tailored speech-language therapy that meets the unique needs of each student. Inspire resilience and positivity in both families and students.
• Data Collection & Documentation: Keep accurate records of therapy goals, progress, and other essential documentation to track student success.
• Time Off Management: Enjoy flexibility with your time off! Full-time school employees are encouraged to schedule breaks during school holidays, with requests reviewed by supervisors to ensure smooth operations.

Your Qualifications

• Licensure: Hold a current Speech Language Pathology Assistant license in the state where services are provided, or be eligible to obtain one.
• Background Check: Successfully complete a Department of Justice/FBI Background Check (or equivalent state or national fingerprint clearance).
• TB Clearance: Must have current TB clearance.
• Eligibility to Work: Must be eligible to work in the US.

Physical Demands of the Role

• Environment: Occasional exposure to dust, pollen, and fumes.
• Activity: Engage in tasks that involve reaching, handling, standing, walking, and lifting items up to 50 lbs, with or without reasonable accommodations.
• Sensory: Ability to perform essential job functions with or without assistive devices or accommodations, including working in moderate to high noise levels.
