Hourly Rate: $21 - $26

Location: Washington, D.C. Office

The Social Media Intern will assist the NRF social media director with planning and creating social content that grows and enhances the NRF’s social channels.

Essential Functions

  • Assist with weekly analytics and reporting
  • Assist with development of social campaigns and daily social content needs, including social video
  • Research social landscape and make recommendations based on current trends and best practices
  • Write news summaries for daily NRF SmartBrief newsletters
  • Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
  • Must be rising junior or senior with coursework or experience in marketing, communications, English or digital strategy.
  • Must be a strong writer with strong social media background.
  • Must have basic graphic design skills relevant for social media content
  • Must be curious, creative and have strong critical thinking skills
  • Must be detail oriented, organized and able to work on multiple tasks simultaneously
