SMT Operator
We’re hiring an SMT Operator in Simi Valley, CA ! This is a full-time, temp-to-hire position offering a competitive pay range of $22 to $25 per hour (DOE) . If you have experience in electronics and circuit board manufacturing, we want to hear from you!

Location: Simi Valley, CA
Salary: $22 to $25 DOE
Position: Full-Time Temp to Hire

SMT Operator Responsibilities

• Assist with daily SMT operations.
• Program and operate SMT equipment.
• Perform manual component placement tasks.
• Solder and assemble PCB components.
• Interpret part numbers and descriptions.
• Maintain and troubleshoot SMT machines.
• Inspect products for specification accuracy.
• Follow IPC-610 electronic assembly standards.
• Handle additional tasks as assigned.

SMT Operator Requirements

• Proficient in machine operating techniques.
• Skilled in using measuring equipment.
• Strong soldering and component knowledge.
• Ability to read Gerber files and drawings.
• Fluent in English reading and writing.
• ITAR-compliant (US Citizen or Green Card).
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3+ years in a contract manufacturing environment.
• Experience with SMT/AOI machine operations.
• Familiarity with PCB setup and insertion processes.

Physical Requirements

• Fast-paced environment, standing all day.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Siemens SMT machines.
• Knowledge of electronics manufacturing processes.
