Job Description

We are seeking a motivated EXPERIENCED (minimum 3 years) shower glass and mirror installation / glazier. We need someone that has true experience and doesn’t need their hand held to do this job.

Skill Requirements:

• Proficiency in using hand tools such as cutters, pliers, and saws.
• Experience with power tools for drilling and fastening into tile.
• Familiarity with sealing techniques to insure proper sealing of frameless shower doors.
• Able to think multiple steps ahead to insure professional installations
• Proficiency to Measure, cut, and install hat channel, U channel, door headers and all hardware, vinyl, tape, silicone for glass and doors.
• Knowledge of different glass types and applications.

Requisites:

• Reliable transportation, valid driver license, auto insurance and social security number.
• Operate basic hand and power tools safely and in compliance with OSHA standards.
• Use suction cups to carry glass with others.
• Drive to and from job sites in your own vehicle.
• Work under the supervision of a foreman.
• Waterproofing/ flashing, sill pans, window/door installation.
• Punctual and reliable with a strong attention to detail.

Physical Requirements :

• Manual labor including but not limited to taking delivery of large windows, doors, glass products.
• Operate basic hand and power tools safely.
• Carry up to 65lbs.
• Stand and walk up to 8hrs per day.
• Ability to carry, set up, and climb (extension) ladders, scaffolds.
• Ability to work on knees as required.
