What You’ll Do Samsung Semiconductor Inc. is looking for a talent that has strong background and experience on device simulation and modeling of semiconductor technology development. The candidate will be developing the next generation memory technology. The TCAD Engineer of Samsung Semiconductor will be responsible for growing Samsung’s memory business, building technology leadership and market opportunities. Location: Onsite at our San Jose headquarters 5 days a week Drive the TCAD models and memory device development for next generation DRAM Identify device requirement in the advanced memory product and provide improvement solutions and directions Drive predictive analysis of next generation DRAM technology transistors and interconnect modules using TCAD model Improve of TCAD model accuracy by calibration of silicon to simulation Collaborate with process integration, design and modeling group for device optimization Engage with cross-function teams with process development, circuit design, quality assurance, to meet the target product requirements Documentation for the process integration, potential issues, and test plan for managers and engineers Technical interactions with internal and external customers. Complete other responsibilities as assigned What You Bring BS and 15+ years of industry experience; MS with 13+ years of industry experience or PhD and 10+ years of industry experience preferred. 10+ years of TCAD simulation, modeling experiences. Required knowledge, achievements, and skillsets in CMOS, memory access device engineering. Strong knowledge of Design of Experience principles and analytical skills Proficient with statistical data analysis software Inclusive, adapt your style to the situation and diverse global norms of our people. What We Offer The pay range below is for all roles at this level across all US locations and functions. Individual pay rates depend on a number of factors—including the role’s function and location, as well as the individual’s knowledge, skills, experience, education, and training. $180,950 — $289,050 USD
