Ursa Major was founded to revolutionize how America and its allies access and apply high-performance propulsion, from hypersonics to solid rocket motors, satellite maneuvering and launch. This role will have a have a high level of responsibility in shaping the application and use of Laser Powder Bed Fusion (LPBF) additive manufacturing technology for advanced propulsion applications. As part of a small, high-performing team the Senior Software Engineer - Additive Manufacturing will support the design and development of additive manufacturing software, interface with manufacturing data, and undertake tasks crucial for continued development of our production capability. The ideal candidate will be highly motivated and prepared to address challenges proactively. Demonstrated experience in delivering well architected and scalable software is essential, along with a commitment to continuous technical learning and a passion for innovative design and manufacturing technologies. Additive manufacturing is vital to Ursa Major's product development and scaling efforts, and this role will be key in driving rapid advancement and operational efficiency.
