Location: Basking Ridge, NJ or NYC (10007) - 1x a week onsite in either location

Required Skills & Experience

• 5+ years of UI Experience Design in an enterprise environment
• Hands on experience drawing for native components – (widgets)
• Strong experience with mobile applications and consumer facing environments
• Ability to follow systems and guidelines in place by third parties
• Understand native capabilities for android and iOS
• Experience working within a Design System
• Process Management skills - defining processes that other designers follow

Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a Senior UI Experience Designer to support Delivery and Native Component work within a customer facing design portfolio. This person should be comfortable in a hybrid onsite schedule. He or she will be focused on a few buckets of work including, Native Component widget design and delivery and Design Process Refinement. One of the main goals of the role will be to successfully draw for native components, the widgets that sit outside of the companies mobile application and are visible on a consumer's home screen of their phone. Candidates need to follow guidelines by third parties to navigate how to design according to those guidelines as well as the enterprise Design System's guidelines. It will be expected that candidates strongly understand native capabilities for Android and iOS . Working in an environment where systems and processes are at the forefront will be beneficial for the role. The other bucket of work will fall within design process refinement and recommendations. The group this person will sit within supports a large consumer facing design team in which iterative processes, design refinement, and connecting the dots through these steps will be important to bring structure to the overall group. Candidates should be able to work independently and in a group, as well as be a great collaborator for stakeholder meetings.

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.

Compensation: $55hr to $67hr
