About the Role

The Company is seeking a Senior Counsel to be the primary legal contact for its subsidiaries, with a focus on a wide range of legal matters, including proactive issue identification and resolution. The successful candidate will be responsible for serving as the main legal point of contact for the subsidiaries, drafting and negotiating complex commercial agreements, and providing legal counsel on various business and regulatory issues. This role requires a proactive and adaptable individual with excellent legal and business judgment, a proven track record of collaboration, and strong project management skills. The Senior Counsel will also be involved in M&A integration activities, and continuous improvement of legal processes, and may have the opportunity to mentor junior team members. Applicants for the Senior Counsel position at the company should have 7-10 years' of relevant legal experience, with a significant in-house background at a technology company. A Juris Doctorate (J.D.) and membership in good standing of at least one U.S. state bar are required. The ideal candidate will have experience in the technology industry, particularly with SaaS, and a general working knowledge of privacy laws. The role demands a candidate who is adept at handling a variety of legal challenges, is comfortable with a fast-paced, dynamic environment, and is capable of managing multiple projects with poise and patience. Experience in commercial agreement negotiation, corporate governance, and compliance is essential, and experience with contract lifecycle management systems is a plus.
