Job Description

As a Security Professional - Armed Driver in San Jose, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government and more .

As an Armed Officer, you will be responsible for monitoring and overseeing designated areas within a government location. Your role involves conducting routine checks and maintaining a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will be equipped with a sidearm, baton, and pepper spray, and will be expected to handle these responsibly. Additionally, you will provide excellent customer service and clear communication to all individuals you encounter. This position requires a valid driver's license and a minimum of six months of security experience. Our team values agility, reliability, and innovation, always prioritizing people and integrity.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service by implementing procedures and site-specific policies, and engage in emergency response activities when necessary.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations with a calm and problem-solving approach.
• Conduct regular and random checks around the location and its perimeter, adapting to varying environments and conditions.

Minimum Requirements:

• .40 caliber firearm permit 
• Applicants must acknowledge and comply with firearms regulations and policies.
• Applicants must demonstrate knowledge in firearms care and maintenance.
• Possession of a valid driver's license in the state of employment is required.
• Applicants must have at least 6 months of security experience.
• Applicants must be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
