Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

An exciting opportunity is available for dedicated professionals specializing in occupational therapy within educational settings. This full-time, onsite position is designed for the upcoming semester, focusing on K-12 students. The role involves working closely with approximately 50 students, addressing their diverse therapeutic needs and facilitating their educational development.

Qualifications:

• Masters degree in Occupational Therapy or related field
• Current state licensure as an Occupational Therapist
• Experience working with children, preferably in a school setting
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Knowledge of various therapeutic techniques and practices
• Commitment to fostering a supportive learning environment

Location: Dearborn, MI

Responsibilities:

• Provide occupational therapy services to students with identified needs
• Collaborate with educators, parents, and other specialists to develop and implement IEPs
• Assess student progress and adjust therapy goals as necessary
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of services provided and student progress
• Support students in developing skills necessary for daily living and academic success
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and professional development
