Job Description

Position: School Administrator

Racine Montessori School is seeking a dedicated and organized leader to oversee daily operations and help guide our school community. This role is a mix of administrative leadership, staff support, and community engagement—ensuring a positive, well-run environment for students, families, and teachers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage school operations, staffing, and finances.
  • Support and collaborate with teachers, ensuring a strong learning environment.
  • Foster a welcoming, engaged school community.
  • Communicate effectively with staff, parents, and the Board.
  • Ensure compliance with policies and budget oversight.
  • Assist with hiring, onboarding, and staff development.
  • Participate in school events and represent the school positively.
  • Lead and support fundraising efforts, including events, grants, and donor relations, to help sustain and grow the school.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or relevant experience in education, administration, or nonprofit management.
  • Strong organizational and people-management skills.
  • Experience in a leadership role within a school or nonprofit setting preferred.
  • Familiarity with fundraising, grant writing, or donor engagement is a plus.
  • Knowledge of Montessori education is helpful but not required.
