Position: School Administrator
Racine Montessori School is seeking a dedicated and organized leader to oversee daily operations and help guide our school community. This role is a mix of administrative leadership, staff support, and community engagement—ensuring a positive, well-run environment for students, families, and teachers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage school operations, staffing, and finances.
- Support and collaborate with teachers, ensuring a strong learning environment.
- Foster a welcoming, engaged school community.
- Communicate effectively with staff, parents, and the Board.
- Ensure compliance with policies and budget oversight.
- Assist with hiring, onboarding, and staff development.
- Participate in school events and represent the school positively.
- Lead and support fundraising efforts, including events, grants, and donor relations, to help sustain and grow the school.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or relevant experience in education, administration, or nonprofit management.
- Strong organizational and people-management skills.
- Experience in a leadership role within a school or nonprofit setting preferred.
- Familiarity with fundraising, grant writing, or donor engagement is a plus.
- Knowledge of Montessori education is helpful but not required.
