Position Summary:
Under the direction of a VP of Sales and Sales Manager, this position is responsible for representing and increasing the sales of all Banville brands in assigned territory within the philosophies and style of the company. Responsible for day-to-day contact with key on- and off-premise accounts and retailers, communicating needs and expectations in areas of allocations, depletions, marketing programs, and product placement. Keep supervisor informed of critical information and trends in the marketplace. Attend trade events and special promotions, always acting as an ambassador in the style and image set by the Tolaini-Banville family.
Job Description:
To increase sales in current on and off premise accounts as well as add new accounts to the territory.
Main Responsibilities:
Execute an overall sales strategy to meet and exceed revenue and placement goals.
Transition existing accounts and grow business to full potential.
Open new accounts to build your territory.
Provide exemplary sales and ongoing customer service for all accounts, in addition to supporting accounts with wine tastings, dinners, events, etc.
Professionally plan and execute supplier market visits in your territory.
Attend sales meetings, annual portfolio tastings and other company events.
Qualifications:
Must currently reside or near PORTLAND, OR.
Bachelor's degree preferred.
Passion for fine wine.
Natural wine knowledge is imperative to this role.
Must be outgoing, personable and represent the company in a professional manner.
Must have valid driver's license.
Must own or have daily access to a vehicle.
Must be self-motivated.
Must be highly organized.
Computer literate with excel skills.
Ability to lift 40+ pounds.
Foreign language skills preferred.
