Job Description
Sales Engineer
The Sales Engineer will be responsible for identifying and developing new business opportunities, building, and maintaining customer relationships, and providing technical support to customers. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of precision machining and experience selling complex products to customers in a variety of industries.
Key Responsibilities:
Identify and develop new business opportunities through networking, cold calling, and other sales techniques
Build and maintain relationships with existing customers, and identify new potential customers
Provide technical support and advice to customers on precision machining products and services
Generate sales quotes and proposals for customers, and negotiate deals
Collaborate with engineering and production teams to ensure customer needs are met and to develop new products and services
Attend trade shows and other industry events to network and promote the company
Provide regular reports on sales activities and results to the sales director
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in engineering, mechanical engineering, or a related field
Minimum of 3 years of experience in sales, preferably in the precision machining industry
Strong technical understanding of precision machining and the ability to explain complex products to customers
Excellent communication and negotiation skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong organizational and time management skills
