Job summary

The Sales Associate is responsible for identifying new prospective clients, entering them into the CRM if not already therein, and using phone-email to establish initial contact on behalf of DSG. Contact qualification (inside sales) leading to participation in the entire sales cycle (outside sales) potentially leading to a full outside sales position representing DSG.

Job functions

• Represent DSG nationally and internationally with regard to sales and account development.
• Accompany Sales on Web and face presentations and prospect/client visits.
• Compile lists of prospective customers for use as sales leads based on information from management, established customers, newspapers, business directories, industry ads, trade shows, web sites and other sources.
• Prepare and send personalized emails to prospective customers.
• Contact prospects.
• Participate in the assumptions gathering, preparation and submission of formal proposals.
• Enter new customer data and other sales data for current customers into computer database.
• Develop and maintain relationships with prospect contacts.
• Attend trade shows.

 

Minimum Requirements

 

• Bachelor’s degree in a science.
• Some form of sales experience preferred or demonstrated strong ambition to learn.
