We are seeking a Roofing Estimator to lead full-service estimating for our diverse range of projects. This role involves preparing and managing estimates for various roofing contracts, utilizing historical data, and maintaining accurate cost databases. The base salary ranges from $45,000 to $60,000 , depending on experience.

• Prepare work estimates by gathering proposals, blueprints, specifications, and related documents.
• Review and utilize historical data for unit and labor calculations.
• Identify labor, material, and time requirements from proposals and specifications.
• Compute costs by analyzing labor, material, and time requirements.
• Attend pre-bid meetings and review proposals to determine the scope of work and estimates.
• Track and manage awarded contracts, including change orders, additions, and credits.
• Prepare reports by collecting and analyzing information and trends.
• Design and finalize Auto CAD drawings and plans.
• Conduct roof surveys, assess requirements, take measurements, and collect data.
• Provide technical support and guidance to team members.

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent (technical training and experience).
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in estimating, cost control, or engineering in the commercial roofing industry.
• Strong knowledge of estimating techniques, engineering disciplines, and cost control systems.
• Ability to estimate a variety of projects/contracts under strict deadlines.
• Valid motor vehicle operators license and a reliable vehicle.
• Proficiency in business writing and computer applications.
• Ability to work in a non-smoking office environment with a controlled temperature.
• Willingness to work beyond normal hours during company meetings or project deadlines.
• Ability to climb ladders and get on roofs.
