About the Role: As an Assistant Project Manager in our Roofing Division, you'll play a vital role in supporting the successful completion of roofing projects from start to finish. Working closely with our Project Managers, you will coordinate workflow, communicate with team members and clients, and ensure projects are completed on time and within budget. Responsibilities: - Support Project Managers in coordinating workflow for roofing projects, including scheduling, resource allocation, and material procurement.
- Serve as a point of contact for team members and clients, providing updates on project progress, addressing inquiries, and resolving issues.
- Assist with reviewing project plans, specifications, and scope of work to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Collaborate with Project Managers to develop project schedules, monitor progress, and identify areas for improvement or adjustment.
- Attend planning meetings with estimators and project teams to discuss project requirements, timelines, and resource needs.
- Organize and facilitate meetings with crew leaders and division managers to review project progress and address concerns.
- Visit job sites regularly to observe progress, address issues, and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Assist with project documentation, maintaining accurate records, preparing reports, and updating project files.
- Utilize project management software for scheduling and communication purposes.
- Support Project Manager in ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to client satisfaction.
Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in construction management, Engineering, or related field preferred.
- Previous experience in the roofing industry or construction field preferred.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact professionally with team members, clients, and subcontractors.
- Proficiency in using computer software for project management, scheduling, and communication purposes.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges in a fast-paced environment.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
