Lead the Future of RF Testing – Join PDS Tech as an RF Test Engineer III in Maple Grove, MN

• Competitive salary: 71,370 to 106,176 annually

PDS Tech Commercial is hiring a seasoned RF Test Engineer III for a pivotal role with a top-tier electronics manufacturer. With a retirement opening this key position, we're looking for a sharp, hands-on engineer ready to lead RF testing initiatives and drive innovation forward.

As the primary technical expert, you'll develop and enhance RF test strategies for products ranging from 10 MHz to 40 GHz. From designing advanced test setups to supporting launches and collaborating across teams, you’ll be central to delivering precise, high-performance RF solutions. What You'll Do

• Develop and optimize RF test strategies and manufacturing verification plans

• Design and debug test setups, tools, fixtures, and software

• Perform hands-on testing and troubleshooting of RF components and systems

• Train and mentor RF technicians; act as technical lead for test execution

• Create detailed test documentation and support environmental testing (thermal/vibration)

• Interface with design, production, and customer teams to drive RF product success

• Lead continuous improvement efforts and support lean manufacturing initiatives

What We're Looking For
Required:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology

• 5+ years of experience in RF testing in a manufacturing setting

• Strong hands-on knowledge of RF measurement tools (Spectrum/Network Analyzers, Signal Generators, etc.)

• Understanding of key RF concepts like IP3, Gain Flatness, EVM, Noise Figure, and Sensitivity

Preferred:

• Experience with RF automation tools and scripting (Python, LabVIEW, Matlab, C/C++)

• RF fixture design and test station development for high-volume production

• Familiarity with PCA testing and CAD/CAM data

• Strong documentation and communication skills

Pay Details: 34.31 to 51.05 per hour
