Job Description

We are looking for an enthusiastic Bartender to provide an excellent guest drinking experience. Good Bartenders will be able to create classic and innovative drinks exceeding customers’ needs and expectations. The candidate must have flexible availability that include working weekends and holidays.Benefits

Responsibilities * Provide excellent customer services

• Greet customers and present menus
• Make suggestions based on their preferences
• Take and serve food/drinks orders
• Up-sell when appropriate
• Keep register counter, display fridge and Bistro seating areas clean and tidy at all time
• Deliver checks and collect payments
• Cooperate and communicate with all serving and kitchen staff
• Adhere to all relevant health department rules/regulations and all customer service guidelines
• Prepare alcohol or non-alcohol beverages for bar and restaurant patrons and in compliance with company standards
• Ensure that the assigned bar area is fully equipped with tools and products needed
• Prepare inventory as needed to replenish supplies
• Demonstrate a thorough knowledge of food and beverage products, menus, and promotions
• Maintain a clean working area by sweeping, vacuuming, dusting, cleaning of glass doors and windows, etc. as needed
• Provide guidance to guests on hotel activities, dining options, and general hotel and regional information
• Other duties as assigned by management

Qualifications* Proven working experience as a Bartender and/or Barista.

• Excellent knowledge of in mixing, garnishing and serving drinks
• Computer/POS system literacy (MICROS)
• Knowledge of a second language is a plus
• Positive attitude and excellent communication skills
• Ability to keep the bar organized, stocked and clean
• Relevant training certificate (Food handler card, MAST permit)
• Must have flexible availability that include working weekdays, weekends and holidays.

Essential Physical Functions: Must be able to sit or stand for long periods of time.
