Job Description Reliatus Behavioral Health is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our growing team in West Phoenix/Maryvale, AZ.
As an RBT, you will play a key role in implementing behavior intervention plans for children and individuals with autism and other developmental disabilities under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
Your work will help improve the lives of clients and their families through individualized treatment programs that foster skill development, reduce challenging behaviors, and promote overall independence.
Key Responsibilities: - Implement individualized Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) treatment plans designed by the BCBA
- Collect accurate data on client progress during therapy sessions
- Use positive reinforcement techniques to teach new skills and reduce problematic behaviors
- Collaborate with families and caregivers to support consistent treatment strategies
- Participate in regular training and professional development sessions
- Maintain appropriate documentation and prepare progress reports
- Communicate effectively with the BCBA, caregivers, and other team members regarding client progress and needs
Qualifications: - Must have active RBT certification (Registered Behavior Technician) from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB)
- High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Education, or related field preferred)
- Prior experience in ABA therapy or working with children with special needs is a plus
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and within a team setting
- Reliable transportation and willingness to travel within the West Phoenix/Maryvale area
- Must pass a background check and have a current CPR certification
