JOB SUMMARY

In this role, you will be responsible for meeting hiring goals by filling open positions with talented and qualified candidates. This includes sourcing and screening candidates, coordinating the interview process, and facilitating offers and employment negotiations, all while ensuring candidates have a pleasant experience. Additionally, this role will involve providing administrative support for various human resources, benefits, and payroll functions, such as email management, responding to employee inquiries, recordkeeping, HRIS entry, completing employment verifications, and creating letters and other forms of documentation as needed.

WHAT YOU WILL BRING

  • 2+ years of Human Resources experience required
  • 2+ years of recruiting experience required; mortgage industry experience a plus
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to manage a wide range of relationships with a variety of stakeholders
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Working knowledge of interview techniques and applicant screening methods
  • Deep understanding of employment laws and regulations
  • Familiar with a wide variety of sourcing avenue
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Prior experience with Applicant Tracking Systems – UKG preferred
  • High School diploma
  • 2+ years of HR/Recruiting experience

DUITES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Source candidates using a variety of search methods to build a robust candidate pipeline
  • Screen candidates by reviewing resumes, job applications, and performing phone screenings
  • Facilitate the offer process by extending offers and negotiating employment terms
  • Follow up with candidates when applicable during the onboarding experience
  • Stay abreast of recruiting trends and best practices
  • Ensure all screening, hiring, and selection is done in accordance with employment laws and regulations
  • Collaborates with department managers to identify and draft detailed and accurate job descriptions and hiring criteria
  • Develop and release job postings on company ATS
  • Maintain a database of candidate records, including active and passive prospects
  • Serve as an employee advocate for new hires as well as established employees
  • Enters information into HRIS for new hires to complete onboarding, ensuring all information is accurate at all times
  • Assist with new hire orientation
  • Complete employment verifications
  • Manage and respond to employee inquiries in HR ticketing system
  • Scan and/or upload documents into HRIS ensuring employee records are complete
  • Creation of compensation/bonus plan documents
  • Maintains employee confidence and protects operations by keeping human resource information confidential
  • Provides administrative support to the HR department, including preparing documents, HRIS entry, reports, and a variety of other tasks
  • Assists in preparing information for audits
  • Provides coverage for HR Generalist when needed
  • Additional administrative duties as assigned
  • Local Candidates only - potential hybrid schedule
