**Radio Host/ Digital Content Writer- WTUG**

at Townsquare Media Tuscaloosa, AL **Digital & Radio Content Leader/ Radio Host**

*****This position requires you to work out of the Tuscaloosa office*****

Townsquare Media is looking for a visionary leader with a history of building high performing teams, radio brands, and digital audiences to join the Townsquare Media Team in beautiful Tuscaloosa, AL.

This leader will report to the Director of Content, have brand ownership of one station, perform an interactive and entertaining daily radio show, and write and publish at least two original local articles for each weekday air shift onto the station website.

**Responsibilities:**

* Vision, Leadership, and Management

* Entertain and inform audiences with your daily on-air show as well as writing and publishing at least two original local articles each weekday for the stations website

* Incorporate content from the stations digital platforms into your on-air show

* Engage daily with your audience via the station mobile app and the stations accounts on social media, including Facebook, Twitter and Instagram

* Conduct regularly scheduled strategy and brainstorming sessions with talent, station leadership and sales team

* Coordinate client integration and execution features and promotions, on-air, online and onsite

* Collaborate with Director of Content and Market President in developing a high performing team and culture that is positive and professional

* Build relationships and communicate clearly and effectively amongst departments, key stakeholders, clients and community members

* Work with sales leadership to generate revenue via endorsements, programming, features, promotions, digital platforms, and events

**Qualifications**

* Leadership

* 5 Years full-time radio experience

* Track record of quantifiable success

* Knowledge of all FCC rules and regulations

* Computer literacy in applicable programs and excellent verbal communication skills

* Public speaking skill and ability to interact with listeners and clients in a public setting

* Problem-solving ability and skill in prioritizing

* Ability to interact with management and staff at all levels and to multi-task and handle pressures and deadlines

* Skill in operation of control board, remote broadcasting, and other related production equipment

* High School Diploma

* Must possess valid state drivers license
