Job Description

Title: Project Manager of Assessment Services Schedule: Full-Time Type: On-site Hours: 8:00am to 5:00pm Compensation: $60,000-70,000 Job Description: Join our dynamic team at Educational Vistas as we continue our 31-year mission of providing high-quality exams to school districts. We're on the lookout for a new Project Manager of Assessment Services to lead our item and test development initiatives to new heights, with a strong focus on integrating technology and innovative tools. As the Project Manager of Assessment Services, you will oversee the development and execution of ELA, math, and social studies exams, leveraging data-driven insights and advanced technologies to enhance educational outcomes. In this role, you will manage projects by collaborating closely with our skilled educational team, that will design and implement current assessment methods that empower educators and institutions. Your keen analytical skills and technological expertise will drive continuous improvement and ensure our solutions remain at the forefront of educational technology. You will work with the national sales team on marketing, vertical market outreach, and to maximize market penetration. You will lead trainings and professional development from the Assessment Services team. Responsibilities: Lead the development and refinement of ELA, math, Science, and social studies exams and scoring rubrics, ensuring alignment with educational standards and pedagogical best practices. Drive a strategic vision for the evolution of our assessments, incorporating the latest technological advancements to meet the dynamic needs of students and educators. Explore and implement state of the art assessment methodologies and technologies to enhance the effectiveness and relevance of our exams. Collaborate with the software department to integrate innovative tools and platforms into the assessment development process, ensuring seamless technological integration. Oversee the enhancement and maintenance of our item bank, ensuring it remains a robust repository of high-quality assessment materials. Implement strategies for ongoing item bank improvement based on feedback, trends, and educational research. Conduct ongoing market research to stay abreast of industry trends, competitor offerings, and emerging educational needs, providing valuable insights to inform assessment development. Implement and maintain rigorous quality assurance processes to ensure the accuracy, fairness, and validity of all assessments. Conduct regular reviews and audits to uphold the highest standards of assessment quality. Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams including subject matter experts, software developers, and writers to create assessments that meet the diverse needs of students, teachers, and educational institutions. Generate schedules and style sheet guidelines for writers, freelance proofreaders, and curriculum experts. Foster a collaborative environment that encourages knowledge sharing and creativity. Work with national sales team to maximize market penetration. Qualifications: Bachelors degree required. PMP certification is preferred, but not required. Minimum 4 years of project management experience required, with a focus on technology integration. Proven track record in leadership roles, demonstrating the ability to drive strategic initiatives and manage high-performing teams. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas clearly and concisely in a respectful and courteous manner. The ability to identify, analyze, and respond to risk factors throughout the project's life Strong technical skills and familiarity with educational technology tools and platforms. Will train.
