What To Expect
The Project Coordinator for Tesla Self Perform is responsible for supporting the successful execution of construction projects within the TSP Piping department. This role requires effective coordination of labor, equipment, and materials while ensuring compliance with company processes and safety regulations. What You'll Do Oversee labor allocation and ensure proper assignment to relevant scope work and budget codesManage timekeeping, record keeping, and reporting for all craft labor within the TSP Piping departmentCoordinate with third-party staffing agencies to manage personnel terminations, new hires, and backfills following company guidelinesFacilitate testing, training, and orientation programs for field personnel, including welding, rigging, and equipment trainingHandle equipment requests, track rentals, and manage on/off-rent statuses for the TSP Piping departmentProcure tools, materials, and consumables for upcoming work scopes, ensuring timely and efficient inventory managementSupport the field team with RFI management, work packages, and turnover/close-out documentation to ensure smooth project execution and compliance
What You'll Bring Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction project coordination or related fieldStrong understanding of labor allocation, timekeeping, and record-keeping within a construction environmentExperience working with third-party staffing agencies and managing personnel processesProficiency in equipment management, including tracking rentals and servicing requests for construction tools and machineryExperience in procurement processes, including managing consumables, tools, and materials for project scopesStrong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills to support both field and office teams effectively

Ability to perform physically demanding work for extended periods of time, up to 12 hours a day Ability to stand and walk for up to 12 hours a day, including over varied and uneven terrainFrequently and repetitively, lift, push and carry up to 35 lbs., including the ability to carry 20 lbs. up and down stairs Frequently and repetitively, bend, lift and reach to install parts Stoop, lay, bend, reach, squat, kneel, crouch, twist and crawl for extended periods of time, including up to 12 hours a dayClimb and maintain balance on ladders, scaffolding or other high structures Ability to find issues in a work process and receive safety signals using sight, touch, and hearingWearing Personal Protective Equipment, including but not limited to: hard hat, safety glasses, safety shoes, reflective vest, and adhering to prescribed safety rules and guidelines
