Job Description:
Production Supervisor with availability to work all shifts: 1st, 2nd, and 3rd.
The ideal candidate will review orders and schedule production.
They provide purpose, motivation, and direction and ensure safety and quality
Manufacturing large batches of Automotive Sealant.

Responsibilities:

• Production & Shipping, Staffing, Scheduling, Tracking, Monitoring and Recording

• Improvement Activities: Customer Concerns, Quality, Production, and Maintenance

• Employee Development: Communication, Performance Review, Training, and Coaching

• Maintain a high level of Cleanliness and Organization.

• Review and Process: Production Personnel Timesheets, Attendance, and Disciplinary Forms

• Training and Discipline of Employees, including a Recommendation for Hire or Fire of bargaining unit positions

• Maintain a Safe Work Environment and use of Personal Protective Equipment

• Enforce Spill Clean-up Procedures

• Ensure Production Work Instructions are followed and up-to-date

• Ensure Batch Cards are accurate and complete

• Work with Quality and Lab personnel on Batch Adjustments

• Enforce bargaining unit Plant Rules, and Compliance with Collective Bargaining Agreement

• Identification and Scheduling of Hazardous Waste Shipments; Signing Manifests

• All other Duties assigned by Supervisor/Manager

Able to Perform, Train and Ensure proper completion of the following:
Read and follow Directions and Recipes/Batch Card
Measure in Pounds, Gallons and Bags
Must be able to perform Heavy Lifting (up to 50 Pounds, repeatedly)
Must be able to work any Shift.
Must be able to Work a 7-Days per Week Schedule.
Must be Able to stay over 4-Hours on any Shift with short notice; REQUIRED .
Should be willing to come in 4-Hours early to cover a shift, due to absenteeism.

HiLo/Forklift Operator experience is Required.
