Job Description

Responsibilities: 

• Investigate and identify production issues, make operational decisions, and take corrective actions.
• Provide field supervision and coordination for the shift; ensuring proper risk assessment, LOTOTO, and all other safety measures are followed.
• Ensure consistent production of all cement, clinker, raw mix, and solid fuels within established quality guidelines ensuring appropriate actions and communications for any deviations.
• Ensure plant equipment is operated in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
• Communicate significant issues to the appropriate department(s) and the Production Coordinator as necessary when unexpected events occur.
• Conduct process line inspections. Complete regulatory forms and correct any defects.
• Enforce Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Company Policies.
• Maintain accurate shift logs for all plant activities.
• Other duties as assigned. 

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:

• 4 years of supervisory industrial manufacturing experience. 
• 4 years of cement plant experience, in roles such as 2 years production labor, mechanic, electrical or2 years CRO.
