Trillium Staffing is now seeking a Process Operator for direct-hire placement in Jeanerette!


Trillium Staffing is seeking a strong technical thinker and experienced facility operator to take a role as Process Operator for its ground-breaking bagasse pelletizing facility in Jeanerette, Louisiana. . In addition to being a strong technical thinker, the candidate should be able to show a history of working in a team, encouraging community, and collaborating with others. Significant experience is also required regarding ability to establish safe operating practices and follow safety guidelines and create a healthy work environment for all employees.


Responsibilities
- Oversee the facilities process equipment operations
- Maintain clean and safe workplace
- Work on a rotating 12-hr shift schedule while remaining focused and punctual (Dupont Schedule)
- Analyze feedstock, washing, drying, and pelletizing equipment performance to establish areas for improvements
- Ensure adherence to rules, procedures, and workplace policies
- Learn and execute processes and operating plans / procedures to effectively use available resources
- Manage, inspect, and report on specific aspects of the operating facility production systems and equipment

Qualifications
- Experience in material handling continuous operations
- Experience in pelletizing biomass is a distinct differentiator
- Strong communication, problem solving and interpersonal skills
