Responsibilities

Probation Officer Assistant (POA) for the Boone County Probation Department, will be responsible for administering chemical tests, conducting observed urine drug tests with clients of the same gender/gender identity. completing and maintaining records, performing various clerical duties, intakes, and assisting Community Corrections programs when needed.

Typical Qualifications

Qualifications

Must be age 21 or older, with no prior felony convictions. Must be an effective and efficient communicator with staff, clients, Court staff and other stakeholders. Will adhere to all Policies and Procedures of Boone County Government and Boone County Courts. Serve in other duties and assignments as requested/required by the Boone County Chief Probation Officer.

Education

Minimum High School Diploma or equivalency

This position is not eligible for benefits.
