About the Role

The Plant Operator ensures the smooth operation of manufacturing processes by monitoring equipment, maintaining production standards, and troubleshooting operational issues. This role requires a hands-on approach to managing equipment and adhering to safety and environmental regulations. Plant Operators play a key role in maintaining quality, efficiency, and compliance across all aspects of plant operations.

Responsibilities:

• Operate and monitor equipment to ensure smooth and efficient plant operations.

• Perform basic maintenance tasks and report any equipment issues to supervisors.
• Adhere to all safety protocols, ensuring compliance with environmental regulations.
• Record operational data and prepare reports on production performance.
• Assist with inventory management, ensuring materials are available for production.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• 1+ years of experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues.
• Familiarity with safety procedures and regulations in an industrial setting.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow operational instructions.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certification in industrial operations or machinery maintenance.
• Experience in the coatings, construction materials, or related industries.
• Ability to operate forklifts or other heavy machinery (certification preferred).
• Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.
• Basic proficiency with computer systems used for logging production data.
