Description:
Employee must be able to perform the essential duties of the position, as outlined below.
1. Handling, transporting, moving, adding and mixing liquid and dry hazardous chemicals
2. Loads and unloads blenders, drums, tanks, totes, trucks and railcars by connecting and disconnecting hoses
with valves, and operating load-out pumps.
3. Operates packaging equipment, including but not limited to box taper, filling and lidding machine, stretch
wrapper and glue machine.
4. Reviews formulation orders for accuracy upon receipt and completion, then completes and signs required
paperwork.
5. Ensures that products meet the quality and production standards based on scheduled demands.
6. Reviews daily production schedules and takes proactive measures to ensure timely completion, including
recommending schedule or manpower adjustments as needed.
7. Inspects and repairs production equipment for operability and notifies supervisor of corrective actions needed to
ensure scheduled products are formulated on time.
8. Complies with all Process Safety Management and Risk Management Program requirements
9. May be trained to be part of a confined space entry team.
10. Provide routine facility housekeeping and maintenance, including the use of power tools including but not limited
to saws, drills and grinders.
Other duties and projects may be assigned.
This position is a safety-sensitive position and requires the employee to follow all Specialty Sales LLC safety policies and
operating procedures.

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:
1. Provide evidence of employment eligibility acceptable to state and federal standards.
2. Must be at least 18
years old.
3. Requires a high school diploma/GED
4. Prefer three years’ experience working in a chemical environment or three years’ manufacturing experience
5. Prefer working knowledge in batch making process.
6. Able to pass pre-employment and annual screenings as appropriate for the position.
Work Environment:
The work environment characteristics described herein are representative of those an employee encounters while
performing the essential functions of this job. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with

While performing the duties of this job, the employee will be exposed to weather conditions. The employee will be
exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, extreme cold and extreme heat, for anywhere between 7 to 14 hours per day.
Working conditions can also be dusty or slippery when wet. The employee is constantly exposed to a noise level in the
work environment which is more than moderate to loud. Hearing protection is provided when required.
Personal Protective Equipment:
All equipment must be worn in accordance with OSHA requirements and company policy. 1. Eye Protection – Safety glasses must be OSHA approved with the ANSI standard Z87 with side shields. They must be worn anytime you are in a work environment where this is deemed necessary. 2. Foot Protection – Safety shoes must be worn which will endure compression and impact. Safety shoes must be able to endure compression and/or impact. 3. Ear Protection – During exposure to work where the decibel level is at 85db or higher. Hearing protection must be worn as provided by the company. 4. Skin Protection – when working outside, it is highly recommended to use sunscreen with a rating of 45SPF or higher when sunny and overcast days to protect any exposed areas. 5. Hand Protection – if the job requires working with certain chemicals or testing processes using OSHA specified gloves. Conditional use of gloves to be determined by the SDS and company policy. 6. Clothing and Skin Protection – Wear TyVek or TyChem suits as required. This direction to wear this protective clothing will be given by the supervisor. The supervisor will be responsible for compliance with safety requirements for clothing. 7. Respiratory Protection – When working with certain chemicals or testing processes respiratory protection is to be used. Conditional use to be determined by the SDS and company policy. Each employee must pass a respiratory medical examination and be fit tested with a respirator which meets NIOSH standards. 8. Fall Protection – Any time work is performed at heights above six (6) feet from the ground surface a full body harness should be worn, and the lanyard must be connected to a proper anchorage point used for the purpose of anchorage. 9. Other – Personal protective equipment as it conforms to OSHA regulations, based on the job being performed.
Requirements:Required Skills and Abilities:
1. Minimum one year forklift experience required with proof of certification and proficiency in forklift operation.
2. Must maintain a valid driver’s license, in the state of residence, and a safe driving record meeting the company’s
vehicle policy and insurability standards.
3. Travel - infrequent
