Job Description

Initiating a search PLANT/MANUFACTURING MANAGER for a small/mid-sized and growing manufacturer (located close to Fremont, NE) who is looking for an experienced manufacturing leader to lead a mid-sized team and help to better position their product(s) and facilitate additional growth…position could transition into additional horizontal/vertical career growth opportunities.

Position responsibilities include :

• Manage, lead, mentor and develop direct and indirect reports
• Further implement (and refine) key manufacturing / production metrics to drive and improve performance
• Play a key leadership role in a new ERP system implementation
• Lead/drive lean/six sigma initiatives
• Further implement (and leverage) a lean culture/work environment
• Develop (and manage against) a strategic/tactical plan and budget

Qualifications :

• Bachelor’s degree (preferred)
• 5+ years of manufacturing leadership experience
• Strong knowledge of production planning, scheduling, quality control, safety, inventory control, lean/CI/related, strategic/tactical planning, etc.
• Great leadership/management/people development skills/abilities
