Pipe Fitter Welder

Location: West Tulsa

Pipe Fitter Welder Pay Rate and Hours:

• $27-$29/hour
• Monday - Thursday 5am-3:30pm

Pipe Fitter Welder Job Description:

• Responsibilities include reading blueprints, selecting the correct materials according to job specifications. Then, layout and fit the material to meet and exceed customers' cost, quality, and service expectations.
• This position will also work as a team player to meet or exceed productivity, quality, safety, and service goals of PEI. Demonstrates appropriate behavior in the workplace according to PEI’s employee handbook and complies with applicable health, safety and environmental regulations

Pipe Fitter Welder Skills:

• Lays out, position, align, and secure materials and assemblies prior to assembly, using straightedges, combination squares, calipers, and tape measure.
• Assists and supports all organization functions such as quality, engineering, divisions, and continuous improvement efforts.
• Inspects used parts to determine changes in dimensional requirements. Adjusts functional parts of devices and control instruments.
• Responsible for ensuring all equipment and machines are operated safely and in compliance with all safety regulations. Reports all unsafe working conditions or practices to management. Layout, fit-up, weld, and fabricate all types of work per drawings and specification. Operates and uses equipment and tools including, but not limited to, acetylene equipment, arc welders, abrasive cutting wheels, drills, pipe threaders and forklifts.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management staff.
