Growing radiology group in the popular Charlotte, North Carolina area is seeking a physician assistant to join their expanding practice! Ideal candidates will have experience in interventional radiology, critical care, or a surgical subspecialty with OR training.

This group has a great history of training and is focused on finding candidates who are self-motivated, willing to learn, and passionate about interventional radiology.

*Responsibilities:*
* Full-time position - Interventional Radiology
* Monday-Friday
* No weekends, no nights, no on-call duties, no holidays
* Collaborate with a fantastic team of board-certified radiologists and advanced practice providers
* Mix of outpatient and inpatient duties
* See patients in hospital setting and diagnostic imaging centers
* Perform procedures such as thoracentesis, paracentesis, placement and removal of PICC lines, tunneled catheters and ports, CT guided biopsies, ultrasound-guided biopsies, and more
* Obtain comprehensive health histories and perform complete physical examinations during hospitalization
* Develop patient treatment plans and educate patients about discharge care
* Communicate patient status information, attend daily rounds, and document progress in the electronic medical record

*Qualifications:*
* North Carolina Physician Assistant License
* DEA License
* Current BLS
* Strong interpersonal skills
* Experience with hands-on procedures and/or surgical assisting
* Proficient with EPIC EMR and McKesson PACS (preferred)
